News of the forthcoming Tomb Raider movie

Lara Croft will be played by Angelina Jolie - the daughter of John Voight - who has apparently undergone rigorous training (and voice-coaching) for the role. Chris Barrie will play Hilary, Lara's butler.

As Lara Croft's Tomb Raider moves towards post-production, the first images from the film have been appearing. The first trailer has already been playing in cinemas (although Chris doesn't feature in it) and the official movie site carries some interesting stills - not the least of which is the one below.

This picture appears courtesy of Paramount Pictures, and is the first image released of Chris Barrie in the role of Lara Croft's butler, Hillary. The movie is currently set for release on June 15th this year.
